Origin of SERP
Behold, the tale of Serp, the friend of Shiba, and his noble quest in the fantastical realm of Web3. SERP stands beside Shiba, steadfast and true, aiming to cultivate and nurture their bond in the same way that the naga fiercely protects the Buddha. Serpents, known as Naga, have been revered as protectors of Buddha and guardians of sacred places for eons. Legend has it that when Gautama Buddha meditated under the Bodhi Tree, the heavens darkened for seven days, and a deluge descended upon him. Yet, the mighty King of Serpents emerged from beneath the earth and shielded the source of all protection with his powerful hood. Serp, akin to the King of Serpents and his divine protection of Buddha, seeks to build a perpetual exchange on the Shibarium.
The initial contracts will be deployed on Shibarium's testnet, and after rigorous testing, they shall ascend to the mainnet. As for the front-end interface, it will be crafted to work with both the testnet and mainnet in perfect harmony. Thus begins Serp's journey, an ambitious quest to build a revolutionary exchange in the fabled world of Web3, where anything is possible.
SERP.finance is a decentralised derivative exchange, which allows users to open leveraged long and/or short positions on crypto-assets. All traders trade against the SERP Liquidity Pool (VENOM).
The VENOM is a basket of blue-chip assets and stablecoins pooled together, which acts as a global AMM for leveraged trading. Liquidity providers can deposit any whitelisted asset into the VENOM pool in return for VENOM tokens, which represent the LPs share in the diversified liquidity pool.
This multi-asset VENOM pool supports trading, to generates fees for liquidity providers via market making, swap fees, and leverage trading.
Chainlink Oracles and an average of prices from top volume exchanges provide dynamic pricing.
